(i.e., Muderongia asymmetrica, M. sp.; Lowey, 1984).
Lowey (1984) concluded that the palynomorph
assemblage indicates the sedimentary rocks in the Indian
River area are Early Cretaceous (Middle to Late Albian) in
age and were deposited principally in a fluvial or
freshwater lacustrine environment with intervals of
brackish or marine deposition.
